Police To Pay N50million To Taiwo Peter – Student Who Was Beaten Close To Death By Police Officers

A circular posted on the NANS JCC Ogun Axis facebook fan page has shown positive light ob the building story surrounding the incidence. it said:

The first step to freedom is boldness! It is premised on this that the leadership of NANS JCC Ogun state axis engaged the acting Director of SSS and the commissioner of Police CP Almajid Ali.. We insisted on our position and at the end of the day we came to the following Resolutions :
1) ASP Ogundaisi Emmanuel has been suspended indefinitely until the panel set up by the Police Service Commission gives it’s final report.
2) A letter will be forwarded by the CP and Corroborated by NANS JCC Ogun State axis to the police Service Commission, for processing of the fund. But in the interim, the Full medical bill that would be required to bring Mr Taiwo Peter Back to his normal state of a health will be fully covered by the Ogun State Police Command.
3) A meeting with selected students leaders across the state will be organized and a memorandum of understanding will be signed. .
We will not rest until Justice Prevail. However, the Planned protest is hereby postponed until the Police fail to fulfill their side of the resolutions.
